Eligible small business owners can now receive grant assistance through the Small Business Administration.
Five billion dollars in grants known as Supplemental Targeted Advances are now available to about 1 million businesses hardest hit by the ongoing pandemic.
Businesses that benefited from prior programs, such as the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Advance, can still receive additional help of up to $5,000.
The Small Business Administration is vetting small businesses to see if they also qualify for a supplemental grant, which is awarded as applications are submitted.
Here’s how your business can qualify:
- Businesses must be located in low-income communities.
- Business losses must have reached at least 50% over an eight-week period.
- Companies that are no larger than 10 employees.
